Our 46 amazing dancers!
In July 2026, Studios from across the country gathered in Connecticut for the Dance Masters of America National Convention, where our students proudly represented Ken & Jean Dance Studio on the national stage.
Throughout the week, our dancers rehearsed, competed, and participated in four to five hours of convention style classes each day, studying with some of the industry's most respected instructors. Several of our dancers were selected to perform in the Welcome Party Opening Number alongside dancers from across the United States. The production was choreographed by Mr. Austin, making the performance an especially memorable experience for our studio. During classes, Ken & Jean dancers were repeatedly recognized by faculty for their talent, artistry, and dedication.
Several students also participated in the prestigious National Scholarship Auditions in Tap, Ballet, Jazz, and Acrobatics.
The week concluded with the National Finals, where our routines "Keystone Cops Meet Their Match," "An American in Paris," "Can You Hear Me," and "Luck Be a Lady" all earned Platinum Awards. "Can You Hear Me" received a Stand Out Award, while "Keystone Cops Meet Their Match" was honored with a Special Award for Outstanding Staging, Choreography, and Execution.
We are especially proud to congratulate Dylan Reynolds, who was named 1st Runner-Up in the National Acrobatics Scholarship Audition—an outstanding achievement at the national level.
